We partner with IHS, Tribal, and Urban Indian health care facilities to offer innovation, attention to detail, a close working relationship with your clinical staff, and the ability to build, maintain and service your RPMS EHR system from the ground up.

Increased patient safety and workflow efficiency lead to positive clinical outcomes and job satisfaction. Let our team help you get from here to there.

Robert C. Adams Robert C. Adams R PH
Clinical Pharmacy Informaticist

CAPT Adams has over 36 years of experience as a clinical pharmacist, pharmacy director, and clinical applications coordinator with the Indian Health Service and Tribal sites.  He has worked in the Aberdeen, Alaska, Phoenix, and Portland Areas.  In October 2009, after 31 years with the Indian Health Service he retired from the position of Portland Area Indian Health Service Pharmacy Consultant and Clinical Applications Coordinator.   Under his guidance, the Portland Area was the first Area to have all of its IHS facilities live with the IHS EHR package, a year before the deadline goal of the IHS system.  The Portland Area has one of the highest percentages of Tribal sites using the EHR Program.  CAPT Adams was an instructor at the IHS Pharmacy Practice Teaching program in Phoenix, AZ. for many years and was considered an innovator in the IHS pharmacy practice field.   His sites were using pharmacy protocols to provide pharmacy based management of chronic disease long before the current practice of physician/pharmacist collaborative practice agreements.  For the past year, he has been a Chickasaw Nation Industries ARRA on-call pharmacy consultant, working with Tribal Sites in Alaska, optimizing their pharmacy drug databases and medication order menus.  CAPT Adams and CDR Van Curen were cited for their outstanding work on the Alaska Community Health Aide medication plan and menu setup for the Tanana Chiefs Conference and the State Community Health Aide Training program.
